Phoenix-area pool builders, ranked (2026)

38 companies that say on their own websites that they build new pools and that work in the Valley: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Queen Creek, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Carefree, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Buckeye, Sun City, El Mirage, Tolleson, Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, Maricopa, Arcadia. We capped the list at 50 and did not pad it: companies we could not confirm are listed separately below. Every rating, year and license number links to its source. All checks were done October 23, 2026.

How the score works (0–100): 75 points from a Bayesian-weighted Google rating, up to 15 from years in business, up to 10 from the pool types and services the company names. The weighted rating = (reviews × rating + 20 × 4.3) / (reviews + 20), so a 5.0 from 3 reviews doesn't outrank a 4.8 from 300. Companies whose rating we could not verify get the 4.3 prior. No company paid for its rank. Full methodology.

Ranked table

Filter by the cities each company names on its own site, and by the pool types and services it names. Google rating is from each company's Google Business Profile as displayed on PoolPad (33 of 38 verified). "Rating not verified" means we could not check one, not that it is bad.
